PRN. This is an as-needed position with opportunities to establish routine hours. Department hours of operation include Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist (Exercise Physiologist, Exercise Specialist, Cardiac Rehab Therapist):

•

• Coordinate education, exercise with heart and lung transplant patients, and metabolic stress testing
  
• Work at an academic medical center with unique cases.

• Conduct cardiopulmonary stress testing

    Qualifications
    
    
    
    
    • 
      
    • Master's Degree in clinical Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field with emphasis in cardiac rehabilitation Required
      
      
      
      
      
      
      Work Experience
      
      
      
      • 
        
      • Three (3) month internship in a comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation program Required
        
      • One or more years of relevant clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation Preferred
        
        
        
        
        
        
        Licenses & Certifications
        
        
        
        • 
          
        • Current CPR and ACLS certification Upon Hire Required
          
        • American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiology certification (ACSM-CEP) Upon Hire Required
