health status.
Key Responsibilities:
Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio
board of nursing.
Completes and submits required documentation.
Delivers effective relationship-based nursing care.
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe
practice and positive care outcomes.
Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to
optimize patient care and clinical operations.
Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of
nursing.
Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and
operational outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned.
Complies with all policies and standards.
Maintains the confidentiality and security of patient
information.
Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of an accredited practical nurse program or currently
enrolled in a nursing program.
Work Experience:
2+ years of nursing experience (Level II only).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of
nursing.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs
and prescribed clinical therapies.
Level II Requirements:
18 CNEs per year.
3 CNEs in clinical specialty.
At least 5 CNEs in Leadership.
Other CNE requirements will be agreed upon with manager.
3 Peer Reviews.
Committee Involvement.
5 criteria with evidence of each.
Licenses and Certifications:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact
License.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Physical Demands:
Standing frequently.
Walking frequently.
Sitting rarely.
Lifting frequently (50 lbs).
Carrying frequently (50 lbs).
Pushing frequently (50 lbs).
Pulling frequently (50 lbs).
Climbing occasionally (50 lbs).
Balancing occasionally.
Stooping frequently.
Kneeling frequently.
Crouching frequently.
Crawling occasionally.
Reaching frequently.
Handling frequently.
Grasping frequently.
Feeling constantly.
Talking constantly.
Hearing constantly.
Repetitive motions constantly.
Eye/Hand/Foot coordination constantly.
Travel Requirements:
10%.
