Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI is seeking a Mammography Technologist to join our Breast Health Center team on an occasional basis.The Mammographer Technologist provides health care services, using x-rays, to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs medical imaging techniques and related procedures to demonstrate breast anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention by, or at the request of, a licensed physician. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Applies appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.Hours: .001 FTE/Occasional hoursExperience/QualificationsKnowledge of radiology standards and procedures as they relate to mammography procedures normally acquired through graduation from an approved radiology school, an Associates Degree in Radiology, or sufficient on-the-job training to meet ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification requirements.Meets FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) mandated requirements.ARRT (R)ARRT (M)State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer licenseCurrent BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hireAspirus Divine Savior Hospital & Clinics has been dedicated to providing the highest level of care to Portage and the surrounding communities for over 100 years.
