May also assist physicians with sonohysterograms and ultrasound guided gynecologic procedures like IUD insertions.* Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.* Apply medical terminology, and anatomical and physiological knowledge to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately captured to for proper interpretation of images.* Collaborate with physicians to deliver precise diagnostic evaluations.* Maintains proficiency in sonography techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.* Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.OB/GYN Sonographer Requirements:* Graduate of an accredited ultrasonography program* Certification with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) in OB/GYN (OB)* Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and disease progression* Proficiency in aseptic technique and medical imaging procedures.* Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with patients and care team members.* One-year sonography experience in OB/GYN (OB)* Previous experience in a clinic setting* Previous experience with Epic and PACS* Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certificationIf you are a dedicated OB/GYN Sonographer looking to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a team of respected healthcare professionals, Associated Physicians, LLP is the place for you.
