qualified Med/Surg RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792 Pay Information
$2,329 per week About The Position ID: 50891015 Shift: 36 hrs/wk,
Day/Evening, 12 hr shifts, Monday - Friday and every other weekend
between the hours of 0 Description: Please read before
submitting:Traveler must meet all minimum requirements below to be
consider.Do not submit traveler who have or will have expiring
licenses and/or certifications during time frame of entire
assignment. Traveler will automatically be declined. Only submit
traveler who can work schedule in posting and interested in the
unit.We are seeking aRegistered our remarkable Medical/Surgical
Float team.Be part of a wide variety of high-level nursing skills
such as evaluating med/surg patients, administering care,
recognizing complications and coordinating with other members of
the team.Take part in the interpersonal communication, leadership,
strategic planning, critical thinking, as well as decision-making
that is a part of the Med/Surg float team.Be a part of the

Magnet -designated facilityand world-renowned academic health
system.Minimum Requirements: Facility Requirement: Traveler must
have permanent address outside50mile radius of Madison(permanent
address must be included in traveler's profile: resume, Medefis
portal and all onboarding documentation must have permanent address
listed). Experience: Must have experience working in different
Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro, surgical, etc).Floating
experience highly preferred.Traveler must have completed two years
of acute care experience within last 3 years. Traveler must have
experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size
hospital. Successfully completed traveler assignment (13 weeks).
Licensure and Certification: Traveler must have WI nursing license
or compact license from their permanent address state. BLS must be
certified through American Heart Association ONLY Reference Needs 2
references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or
manager only). Telemetry Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia
experience. Traveler will be required to pass UW Health Telemetry
test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).UW
Health Recruitment will send instructions to traveler 2-3 weeks
prior to start date. Floating Travelers are the first to float to
floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on
the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have
shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current
staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization.
During the traveler s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has
a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to
