*Work Schedule:*100% FTE, Mainly days with rotating nights and weekends (10-12 hour shifts). Includes additional compensation for night and weekend hours. You may be eligible for up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.*Be part of something remarkable.*Come provide care to adults with serious neurological illnesses in our Neuroscience ICU. At UW Health - an academic medical center and Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Program - you will treat the most complex trauma and stroke cases in the state.We are seeking a *Nurse Practitioner *or *Physician Assistant *:* Collaborate with faculty, residents, fellows, surgeons, and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.* Partner with a larger team including Neurosurgery, Neurocritical Care and Neurology to provide medical and perioperative care during critical illness.* Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice.* UW Health's Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Advisory Council ensures that your voices are heard. This unique advisory council serves to promote, support, advocate and advise on APP practice and provide expertise and counsel on APP roles across the organization.* UW Health is committed to recognizing our advanced practice providers for their outstanding commitment and service to our patients and their profession.
