Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Experience: --- 24 months of role experience is required. --- 24 months of Intermediate Care Unit experience is required. --- Experience with Epic is preferred. Requirements: --- Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license in hand at the time of application. --- Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role. --- COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process. Additional Details: UW Health requires TWO TB SKIN TESTS (PPDs) for onboarding. BLOOD TESTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED 1st PPD must be uploaded NO later than one week prior to start date (and must be dated within 12 weeks prior to start date). 2nd PPD must be uploaded within 30 days from start date (please note- assignments may be terminated if traveler does not meet compliance within 30 days). Guaranteed Hours: 36 Shift Information: 1900-730, every other weekend or to meet unit staffing needs and some holidays. Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state. Will consider candidates without WI or compact license but must apply for a temporary license under the Wisconsin Act 10 order within 48 hours of offer accepted and provide screenshot of application submitted Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Will be required to pass Telemetry test upon arrival at UWHC All agency travelers must demonstrate competency in interpretation of cardiac rhythms before your orientation begins. Previous completion of PALS, ACLS, etc. is not acceptable as a demonstration of this competency Instead, you will be expected to satisfactorily complete a 20 question test which consists of multiple choice questions and write-in rhythm identification. You must pass with an overall score of 80% and correctly identify 100% of the 4 life-threatening rhythms for your patient population (adult or peds) Travelers are the first to float to floors working with children up to 1 year of age and/or based on the traveler's competency skills/experience. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization During the traveler's assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract. Maximum days off: 7 days 2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) Certifications: --- BLS (Basic Life Support) --- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
