100% FTE, Monday - Friday, day shifts from 8:00am-4:30pm with
call responsibility. Hours may vary based on the operational needs
of the department. You will be working at University Hospital in
Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:
* Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary VAD Team in the
coordination and management of pediatric and adult advanced heart
failure patients needing or having an implanted VAD.
* Serve in a supervisory capacity for clinical competencies and
day-to-day operations of the VAD program.
* Maintain applicable and relevant logs and records to meet
regulatory and operational needs.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN)
Work Experience:
Minimum Two (2) years of recent Ventricular Assist device and/or
mechanical circulatory support experience.
Preferred Two (2) years of lead or supervisory experience in the
mechanical circulatory support field of nursing. Progressive
nursing experience with demonstrated success.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum Registered Nurse, Licensed in the State of Wisconsin and
Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
Preferred Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) and
Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS).
