This position is eligible for a $20,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs with more than 1 year of nursing experience or $5,000 Sign On Bonus for RNs with less than 1 year of nursing experience.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) at Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital, Stevens Point, WI.
RNs in the recovery room are responsible for the care of the patient immediately post-op. Patients can come out of surgery still intubated and require 1:1 nursing care. The staff cares for patients from birth to geriatric age. We care for patients that have had orthopedic/neuro/spine/cardiac/GI/General (ear, nose, throat, podiatry, vascular and dental) surgeries. The PACU RN also cares for some patients prior to going to the ICU. It is a very fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:

* Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a registered nursing degree program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
* Possess an active Wisconsin RN license.
* Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
* 2+ years of critical care experience preferred
