Job Description & RequirementsCertified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech)StartDate: 05/23/2022Available Shifts: 8 D Pay Rate: $1450.00 - 1850.00The Radiologic Tech performs a wide variety of imaging exams. Some Radiologic Tech roles will include rotations in or be exclusively in Bone Mineral Density (BMD). The incumbent works under the supervision of the Radiology Manager and/or Supervisor. The Radiologic Tech uses a wide variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. The incumbent must be able to troubleshoot basic maintenance, participate in QA, and resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system.Required QualificationsWI-License required-3 to 4 months on handTwo (2) years clinical experience. Traveler must have permanent address outside 50 mile radius of Madison (address must be included in travler's profile). . Needs 2 references from recent work environment/assignments (supervisor or manager only).Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology. Certification by appropriate body (ARRT) and valid Wisconsin Radiological License - ARRT (R) (VI) required. BLS certification required.Preferred QualificationsPrior traveling experience preferred.Preferred - Bachelor's degree in relevant field.About the FacilityServing Madison and surrounding areas, this hospital has been providing top quality medical care since it opened its doors in 1924.
