Position description
A full time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is needed to join the Urology Department. This position will include working collaboratively with 3 physicians, 1 physician assistant, nursing staff, and support staff in addition to seeing patients on an independent calendar. The NP/PA will be expected to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage male and female patients with acute and chronic urologic conditions. Diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopy are common. This is primarily an outpatient position which includes new consultations, follow-up visits, pre op, and post op appointments. Excellent interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues. Qualifications
Prefer 1-2 years' experience as an advance practice provider in Urology OR graduate of an associate provider urology training/fellowship program.

Masters or Doctorate prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner. Current WI RN license and certification as a FNP or ANP.

Or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with current PA certification by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the WI Board of Medical Practice.

Must be eligible for DEA registration and billing privileges

Certified or eligible to be certified by NCCPA and licensure as a PA by the Wisconsin Board of Medical Practice.
