- Join our remarkable Medical/Surgical Float team.
- Be part of a wide variety of high-level nursing skills such as
evaluating med/surg patients, administering care, recognizing
complications and coordinating with other members of the team.
- Take part in the interpersonal communication, leadership,
strategic planning, critical thinking, as well as decision-making
that is a part of the Med/Surg float team.

One Trauma Center, Magnet --designated facility and world-renowned
academic health system.Education :Preferred - Baccalaureate degree
in nursing.Work Experience :Minimum - One (1) year relevant medical
surgical experience in an acute care setting.Preferred - Two (2)
years relevant experience. Telemetry experience.Licenses and
Certifications :Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in
the State of Wisconsin. CPR certification.Required Skills,
Knowledge, and Abilities :
- Experience providing care to a diverse population of

- Knowledge regarding quality improvement and standards of care
within practice area.
- Experience in teaching patients and families.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively delegate and supervise the work of other
nursing team members.Physical Requirements :Medium: Ability to lift
up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying

Schedule : Positions available on the following shifts: Evening and
Evening/Night with variable/rotating (8) eight and (12) twelve-hour
shifts Monday-Friday. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours
may vary based on operational needs of department.University
