JOB TITLE: (2) LTC Mental Health RN - PM/Nights - Norwood Health Center, Marshfield, WI - Increased Bill Rate $71.00
Contract Length: 13 weeksStart Date: 2/15/2021Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 32 - will also take 40 hours if neededPrimary Location: Norwood Health CenterShift Requirements: 8 HR shifts, PMs and NightsWeekend Requirements: Every third weekend, PMs/Nights - 8- or 12-hour shiftsFloat Requirements (campuses and/or units): May float between units. Primarily need coverage in skilled nursing but may float to inpatient.On Call/Call Back Requirements: NoneRequired Licenses and Certifications : WI RN License and BLS. CPI helpful, but not required. Minimum Experience (years in specialty): 1-2+ years experience, mental health background preferred, not required.Charting Experience: Matrix Care - not required. Previous electronic charting, helpful. Unit Information (Bed size, Case types, Patient ratios, etc.) : Admissions - 2 RNs on during the day, 1 at night. 3 CNA's during the day and 2-3 at night, depending on acuity. Nursing managers and DON are always available via phone at night. 16 licensed beds, currently census is 8 (lower d/t COVID-19 precautions). SNF is on 2nd floor. It consists of two units. The locked unit has 16 beds and unlocked unit has 12 beds. Avg census is about 22-23 patients (not full census). At least one CNA on all units at all times. Nursing managers and DON are always available via phone at night. Unit Overview: The Inpatient psych unit or "Admissions Unit" is an acute care, specialty, psychiatric hospital that provides 24-hr structured inpatient treatment. They offer voluntary and involuntary mental health assessment, diagnosis, acute treatment and stabilization for adults age 18 or older. Also provide limited acute detoxification services. Long-term care unit. Patients with chronic mental illness. Some are there on long term stays, others are there for a short period in effort to return to the community. No dementia patients. Majority of population is fully ambulatory - no Hoyer lifts. Scrub Colors required: Any professional scrubs (NO advertisements listed on them). Dress Code: Hair must be pulled back and of natural tones (no extremely bright or vibrant colors), no hanging jewelry - stud earrings, facial piercing must be small posts (no rings or hoops), no tongue piercings.

The administrative fee for candidates placed shall be five percent (5.00%). Review all job posting requirements prior to submitting applicants for the posted position. Candidates can go permanent after working 6 months at facility with no buyout fee. All 48 hour guarantee contracts, OT starts after 48 hours unless stated. Total MSP holds the direct relationship with the hospital system and will manage all hospital postings for contingent staffing. Any and all communication will go directly through Total MSP. Any Affiliate Provider directly contacting the hospital will be in violation of their Affiliate Provider Agreement. Total MSP will manage all billing for this client. Invoices are not to be sent to the hospital. Total MSP does reverse billing which will be sent on a weekly basis and Affiliate Provider has 5 business days upon receipt to review and rebut the billing. For facilities that require timecards to be filled out by travelers, timecards are due by 8:00am central standard time Monday s or will be emailed to Affiliate Provider with clients utilizing Electronic timekeeping. Total MSP will be on-boarding all new starts. All credentialing for new starts must be uploaded into the Total MSP portal the Wednesday prior. Deadlines are determined by Total MSP s Compliance Coordinator. The Compliance Coordinator will be emailing the compliance checklist and calling your compliance team upon receiving the signed traveler confirmation.
