Job Description:

We are searching for a Director of EHS who will lead and provide the strategic direction for risk reduction, injury prevention, and environmental regulatory compliance initiatives and will be accountable for driving the overall Company environmental, safety and security process for Foremost Farms USA. The Director partners with the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Operations leaders to assess the effectiveness of safety, environmental, and security policy/protocol efforts and designs and implements strategies for continuous improvement. This individual will collaborate across the organization, for ensuring accident-free work environments protecting employees, caring for the environment, and minimizing waste from processes and products, while creating value for the customer. The Director is a key stakeholder in supporting the corporate sustainability strategy and leading corporate and plant physical security practices. This is a highly visible, transformational role with a focus on leading change, influencing, communicating, and coordinating while interacting with key stakeholders, customers, and employees to lead EHS improvement. This is a corporate role supporting the corporate office and 8 manufacturing plants with overall travel to plants up to 30%. This position is based in the corporate office, in Middleton, WI with some occasional working from home flexibility. Responsibilities:
Facilitate the professional development of corporate EHS department and raise the effectiveness of EHS performance of plant management teams
Set company performance standards for safety, environmental, and physical security. Develop and implement long term strategies to prevent losses to people, property and the environment
Represent the organization as a liaison with internal and external interested parties Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field, or other technical degree.
10 years of applied progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated professional expertise and accomplishments leading EHS change initiatives, with multi-plant responsibilities. Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to formulate EHS strategy and gain buy-in from executive management.
Proven experience developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
