Job DescriptionAres is currently seeking candidates for a Senior Associate or Associate Vice President within our Global Capital Solutions Group. The Global Capital Solutions Group works across various Ares's business lines managing the Firm's global banking and non-traditional lending relationships, capital needs, leading, or partnering on various financing transactions, and overseeing the Firm's hedging programs. The candidate will gain broad exposure across various asset classes and functions within the organization. The role will also require frequent interactions with our banking relationships and external counsels. It's an opportunity for the candidate to expand their relationships and network across financial markets. Primary Functions & ResponsibilitiesThis individual will provide overall support by leading the underwriting process for various debt, equity, and hybrid transactions across the platform. The role will require interaction with various investment teams and require a comprehensive knowledge of various asset classes and capital markets products.
Key responsibilities include:
--- Lead the underwriting process for debt, equity and hybrid transactions
--- Preparing pitchbooks and financial analysis --- Preparing memos and documenting capital markets transactions
--- Conducting research to analyze market trends
--- Additional duties include providing direct support as deemed necessary by senior management
-QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree requiredLicenses: Series 7, 79 and 63 preferable

Experience Required
--- High intellect with solid quantitative, financial, and analytical skills
--- 5+ years of relevant industry experience

Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and performance. Benefits would include:
