Job Description:
Description:This position works in conjunction with Ownership,
Vice Presidents, Directors, and Sales Managers to deliver Luxury
wine initiatives. This is a Statewide
position.Responsibilities:Market share: Drive profitable,
sustainable programming Negotiate mutually beneficial goals and
programs to execute the sales plans for the Luxury portfolio and
Supplier partners Manage costs and freight from suppliers to
maximize wholesaler margin based on our price to the trade Manage
and control inventory levels and allocations as well as actively
move out aged itemsSupplier satisfaction: Engagement and
involvement in supplier programming meetings, business reviews,
sales meetings, and winery visits Vocalize level of support needed,
as well as, expected ROI Management of LMF budgets and GB budgets
with fiscal responsibilityCommunication: clarity, simplification,
prioritization Work with Directors to organize and prioritize
monthly wine KPI's and metrics Present monthly KPI's to relevant
sales teams; One Voice Consult Directors on ideas, concepts, and
tactics to deliver the deemed KPI'sExecution: Work with sales leads
to ensure deemed KPI's are achieved, Accountability Provide
consistent/timely status updates as it relates to monthly KPI
progress Ensure each sales lead has the resources to execute with
paceMarket Presence: Actively lead sell in the marketplace; key
account relationships: Visibility Work with suppliers in market
during their visits Evaluate effectiveness of programs, execution,
and KPI achievement(s)Personnel Development: Mentor, coach, and
provide stewardship to selling teams Portfolio and brand education
as well as general luxury wine category education; instill a
"Winning with Wine" mindset Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset
-Driving future-focused changeRequirements:Qualifications:Direct
managerial/supervisory experience with sales, retail, or on-premise
employees (e.g. District Manager, Area Manager)Experience
demonstrating strong leadership selling, time management, public
speaking skills.Experience writing routine reports and
correspondence.Skilled in speaking effectively before groups of
customers or employees of organization.Experience with Microsoft
Office software programs.Skilled in calculating figures/amounts:
discounts, margin, profit, commissions, APs, POD's, percentages,
and volume.Knowledge of how to apply concepts of basic algebra and
geometry.Skilled in solving practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exists.Skilled in interpreting a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form.Must possess a valid Wi. Drivers License.
