Position SummaryResponsible for providing long-range strategic
leadership and day-to-day administration of the Mid-State
Foundation and the Foundation and Alumni office. Working with the
Board of Directors of the Foundation, advance the mission of the
Foundation to maximize student support. This position is a leader
within the college working toward both the Foundation and College's
mission, vision, values and strategic plans.Duties &
ResponsibilitiesAdminister Mid-State Foundation scholarship and
grant program to include the distribution of Foundation funds
through student scholarships, grants, emergency funding, and other
means.Develop and implement a strategic plan for an Alumni
Association.Coordinate and participate in distribution of high
school scholarships at high school ceremonies.Assist the College in
connecting meaningfully with Mid-State District communities to
include participation in local community organizations.Coordinate
and monitor all Foundation processes, data, records, and systems
for efficiency and accuracy.Work closely with and engage the
Mid-State Foundation Board members to include recruiting and
orienting new board members, collaborating with Mid-State
Foundation Board committees, etc.Develop, monitor, and report out
on the Foundation Strategic Plan and dashboard.Provide requested
information and required reporting to outside agencies (WTCS, DFI,
etc).Provide regular updates to the Executive Leadership Team and
the Mid-State district board of directors.Oversee Manager, Donor
Relations and all fundraising activities.Effectively prepare and
maintain budget. Work with the Business Office to assure accurate
accounting of Foundation funds. Assist Business Office with annual
audit as requested.Other duties as
assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, marketing,
communications or related field required. Master's degree
preferred.Minimum of five years of work experience in marketing,
public relations, or community/fund development required.Experience
in and with foundation management, college foundations, community
relations, non-profit operations and marketing within an
educational environment preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Office
applications or ability to learn systems required.Must possess
excellent problem resolution, organizational, interpersonal,
communication, and project management skills.Must possess ability
to:

effectiveness.
