What you'll be doing:



















**This is a hybrid position with 2 days in the office weekly required** Provide support to the operation and maintenance of the company's established formal ERM Program and Business Continuity (BC) Program. Collect, evaluate, and maintain data for risk quantification, assessment, and mitigation. Provide support to various models and tools. Analyze root causes, patterns, or trends that could result in risk to the organization. Support the business units with the integration of ERM processes and assist in the administration of established ERM performance metrics. Support the application of risk assessment tools, practices, and policies.



























On any given day, you'll:



















* Collect, evaluate, and maintain data for risk quantification, assessment, and mitigation.
* Provide support for appropriate models and tools and assist others in the organization to understand the output of models.
* Recognize and analyze root causes, patterns, or trends that could result in risk to the organization.
* Participate in ERM and BCM educational assistance across the organization.
* Support the business units with the integration of ERM processes.
* Assist in the administration of established ERM performance metrics.
* Continually expand knowledge of ERM and BCM best practices by attending seminars, reading business publications, and pursuing professional designations.
* Support the application of risk assessment tools, practices, and policies.
* Coordinate ERM and BCM activities, as directed, with other department stakeholders.
* Assist with special projects and reports necessary to comply with regulatory requirements.



























Here's what we expect



















* Bachelor's degree in a field of study relating to finance, insurance, risk management, or business is required or the equivalent in related insurance experience.
* Prior experience in finance, risk management, or business continuity with an emphasis in insurance or risk management is preferred.
* Ability to learn insurance company operations, ERM principles, BCM principles, accounting, compliance, auditing, and internal controls.
* Ability to learn ERM and BCM tools and processes while developing a good understanding of the underlying details.* Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Must be self motivated and detail oriented with the ability to appropriately interact and collaborate with members of multiple departments.
* Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
* Computer skills with an emphasis on data retrieval, analysis, and display.
* Ability to learn Church Mutual's proprietary IT systems.
