Job Description:
Job ResponsibilitiesPrimary AccountabilitiesPrimary interface
for Cybersecurity pertaining to third parties.Leads efforts related
to Supplier Diversity and ESG program.Tracks, captures and
maintains performance output metrics to demonstrate the success of
category management and strategic sourcing initiatives in adding
value to the company bottom line.Updates and creates supply chain
functional governance policies and monitor compliance towards those
policies.Manages the supplier performance processes, including
production of monthly supplier scorecards.Ensures conformance for
the supplier add process with internal and regulatory
requirements.Benchmarks, identifies, proposes and implements new
approaches and solutions to significantly improve the management
processes covering the areas of supplier performance, supplier
relationship management and supplier risk management.Audits the
work product of SCM professionals engaged in the execution of
strategic sourcing and category management processes to identify
and recommend improvements to the GM Category Management &
Strategic Procurement.Ensures the strategic sourcing processes
across all SCM teams are aligned to achieve consistent and
predictable results.Designs and employs a supplier business review
process to facilitate Business SME performance assessments to
promote continuous improvement within the supply base.Accountable
for, and provides governance oversight, to SCM's Contracts
Committee process. Applies deep technical and commercial acumen to
review and screen all functional submissions to the Committee;
provides guidance and feedback to ensure adherence to
policies.Develops and implements continuous improvement plans to
further improve the productivity, quality, and efficiency of the
strategic sourcing and category management processes.Works with
business units and SCM functional leadership to develop required
strategic sourcing process improvements to assure performance,
manage risk, and functional excellence.Counsels internal
stakeholders about SCM strategic sourcing processes and
policies.Audits to ensure the strategic sourcing processes are
designed and executed to achieve objectives.Works with business
units and functional leadership to determine metrics required to
assure performance, supply continuity and manage risk.Develops and
mentors staff to build bench strength supporting company
growth.Performs all management duties including, but not limited
to, budgeting, hiring, performance reviews, coordinating and
scheduling work, salary recommendations, discipline, ensure
employees report to work fit for duty, leadership, grievance

Governance to join our team in Madison, WI! Reporting to the
Director of Supply Chain Management, you will inspire and develop
the team to be their best while executing on a vision to build a
strong culture of continuous learning, growth and challenge. In
this role you will drive continuous improvement in procurement and
supply chain processes, policies, tools, templates and training.
Leading the development of the annual enterprise work plan for
strategic sourcing initiatives and monitors, reports and
facilitates improvement in execution with the Supply Chain
Management leadership team.Also, providing leadership and subject
matter expertise in the design, development and deployment of
standardized, enterprise-wide processes for: Category Management
(CM), Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM),
Supplier Diversity and ESG related topics pertaining to supply
chain.Alliant Energy will be unable to provide sponsorship now or

this role you will need:8 years of experience in the project
management, strategic sourcing, category management or supply chain
related field.3 years leadership experience. (Leadership
experiences may include project management, providing work
direction, leadership experience through temporary assignments,
roles in the community or external organizations, or other
demonstrated leadership experience.)We also prefer:Bachelors Degree
and/or Masters Degree with emphasis in Supply Chain Management,
Business, Finance, Engineering or related areaCertification in
Supply Chain Management related.Knowledge, Skills, and
AbilitiesDemonstrated project management and change management
skills, with aptitude, interest and desire in continuous
improvement.Excellent influencing skills, interpersonal and
communication, able to interact effectively with employees at all
levels, both at corporate and within business.Excellent networking
capability and negotiation skills.Ability to work effectively in a
diverse and inclusive work environment, while promoting and
