EatStreet is looking for a Market Manager to join the operations team. We are looking for a self-starter and entrepreneurial strong leader. The Market Manager role is a fast-paced leadership role within EatStreet that requires drive, grit, positivity, and enthusiasm for the challenge. In this role, you will lead a local team of Shift Leaders, Hourly Associates, and oversee the facility's virtual market operations. Ultimately, the success of the operation rests on your shoulders and is determined by your ability to lead a team that is hyper-focused on delivering a perfect experience for our customers.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and is accountable for all market operations including, inventory, ordering, equipment maintenance, order fulfillment, and order handoff
  • Develop playbooks & training to drive improvements to key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Accountable to drive the financial performance of the site by ensuring that budgeted productivity, labor, and other expenses are achieved
  • Implementing and monitoring Human Resource compliance, asset protection, safety controls, overseeing the safety of our people and products, operational and quality assurance reviews
  • Manage teams: schedules, approve payroll, hire, train, and motivate all employees
  • Implement and maintain action plans and standard operating procedures to improve performance
  • Responsible for controlling expenses and labor to ensure expenses adhere to the budget and sales volume by analyzing and interpreting reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and operational efficiency
  • Propose innovative ideas to drive sales and profitability
  • Respond to all issues that arise from staff or customers in a professional manner (complaints, grievances etc)
  • Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations
    What We Expect You to Bring to the Table
    • 4+ years of retail, caf--, or restaurant managing, training, and leadership experience
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor's Degree a plus
    • Experience in purchasing and managing inventory
    • Experience in packaging, labeling, and managing heat to eat items is preferred
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong skills with conflict resolution
    • Strong skills with team development and engagement
    • Ability to lead in an ever-changing environment
      Job Requirements
      • ServeSafe certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of start date
      • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend significant amount of time which may exceed 8 hours a day of walking or standing
      • Ability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends, and holidays
      • Passion, knowledge and excitement for high-quality and trending goods, especially in food and beverage
      • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
