Job Description:

Manage and lead cross-functional teams responsible for new product development projects that result in the launch of Luxury Household Appliances. --Accountabilities:

• Ensure alignment of product and business goals by developing and driving project schedules.
• Coordinating activities within the established project timelines and budgets set forth by the Senior Management Team.
  
• Responsible for overall coordination of a project team, their activities and day to day management of the project and relevant documents.
  
• Ensures decisions involve the appropriate people and support business and project objectives set forth by the Senior Management Team.
  
• Skillfully applies and uses the internal NPD process to deliver products to market. Contributes to continuous NPD process improvement initiatives.
  
• Manages project resources; highlights dynamic issues and manages the activities of internal and external resources in the planning and execution of projects.
  
• Solicits assistance from other functional departments and negotiates for resources as needed.
  
• Provide regular project updates to the Senior Management Team.
  
• Manages project requirements, scope, product cost, and develops and drives project schedules.
  
• Develops and executes risk management plan. Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience Required 7-10 years: Experience leading product development projects within the Durable Goods industry/environment Preferred Preferred PMI certification (PMP) Preferred Masters degree or certificate in Project Management from an accredited school.
