Job Description:

The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing parameters for the inspection and identification of footwear related quality issues under the Weinbrenner Shoe Co. Quality Program. Qualifications: -- 2-4 year degree in a field related to Quality Assurance or equivalent experience working within an ISO based quality system. -- Quality related certifications.-- Training in root cause analysis.-- Experience in a manufacturing environment.-- Proficiency in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint programs.-- Ability to read and comprehend various measuring tools and equipment.-- Above average communication skills.-- Mathematical skills; data analysis and statistical aptitude.-- Ability to define problems, investigate, and collect data. -- Ability to establish the difference between facts and opinions and draw valid conclusions.-- Above average organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.-- Effective time management skills.-- Ability to motivate team members to bring forth a desired behavior or response from team members.-- Experience in planning processes; identifying and setting achievable goals, developing strategies, and outlining tasks and schedules.
