Our client, a privately-owned management company, that features luxury apartment homes to lease in the Madison area, is seeking to hire an Apartment Leasing Manager to join their team! This DIRECT HIRE position will operate full-time, Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Our client offers a competitive salary, based on experience. Requirements:* Supervise a team of leasing consultants to ensure maximum occupancy of rental units at all times with a high renewal rate* Oversee completion of all necessary paperwork and ensure proper customer service* Greet visitors to properties and answer their questions* Provide information about a particular property and the community to prospective tenants* Match customer needs with properties that are available for leasing* Explain leasing policies to prospective tenants* Ensure that applications are completed properly* Verify information on leasing applications * Obtain signatures on leasing agreements that are approved by the property owner* Evaluate a prospective tenant's credit to determine if qualified for leasing* Conduct background checks* Maintain paperwork such as applications, agreements, credit and employment checks, and move-in packages* Handle service requests and correspond with maintenance personnel to determine all requests are completed prior to tenant move-in* Other duties as business needs requireQualifications:* Apartment leasing experience a plus, but not required* Strong customer service and sales skills* Excellent problem solving and communication skills * Ability to multitask* Must enjoy working with people* Must be willing to submit to a credit check* Business casual work environment#MMAS
