industry leader since 1912, Lavelle Industries has a unique
opportunity for a Tool & Die Machinist to join our Burlington, WI
Tooling team. The Tool & Die Machinist will focus on efficient and
effective repair and manufacture of molds, dies, machine parts,
jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools. This is a highly visible
position within the company, critical to the advancement and growth
of Lavelle that will work with the Lavelle engineering team,
R&D team, & operations team. Responsibilities will include:
Perform set up and operation of manual and CNC milling machines,
grinders, saws, drills, lathes, and other tool room equipment.
Repair and manufacture molds and dies. Fabricate and repair machine
components, jigs, fixtures, etc. from drawings and samples.
Appropriate and effective communications – written and oral. “Right
fit” candidates for this role will have education and experience
suitable for the role. This includes: Must have 3 years of related
experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with CNC
machine tool control. The ideal candidate is one who is experienced
with all facets of mold repair and manufacture. HS Diploma and
Machinist Journeyman or equivalent experience is preferred.
Confident, autonomous self-starter. Comfortable performing
multifunctional tasks while achieving desired results. Energetic,
enthusiastic, responsible and positive. Collaborative and
constructive relationship with manufacturing staff, and management.
