Our client, a growing organization, is seeking to add headcount
within their engineered systems group. This individual will play a
key role in the design, documentation, and execution of engineered
systems, supporting both internal production teams and external
customer requirements. The role will be hands-on, spanning system
design, shop support, testing, and final quality review. Key
Responsibilities: Enter and maintain system data and documentation
within the ERP system and the engineered systems group network
drive. Manage engineered system products, including redesigns and
system refinements to support customer-driven updates. Design light
hydraulic and pneumatic systems in support of custom applications.
Develop schematic drawings and complete system designs using both
2D and 3D CAD modeling tools. Oversee shop build projects from
initial concept through final sign-off and completion. Ensure all
system documentation is properly created, stored, and maintained
within the internal documentation network. Provide technical
support and system design solutions aligned with best practices and
customer specifications. Collaborate closely with shop personnel by
supplying accurate models, drawings, and build documentation.
Ensure high-quality products are delivered by overseeing system
testing and serving as final quality control prior to shipment.
Perform additional related duties as assigned. Required Skills and
Qualifications: General understanding and conceptual knowledge of
system builds, with the ability to develop creative and practical
solutions for customer applications. Solid understanding of
electrical system layouts and build concepts. 3–5 years of relevant
experience in a related engineering or production-focused role.
Background in mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a
closely related discipline. Minimum of an Associate’s Degree (AA)
in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a two-year college or
technical school; or a comparable combination of education,
training, and hands-on experience.
