Maintenance Manager The Nekoosa Wisconsin Sites Maintenance Manager
has full ownership of maintenance, asset reliability, uptime
performance, and capital project execution across both Wisconsin
manufacturing sites. This role ensures safe, reliable, and
cost-effective operations by maintaining high standards of
equipment readiness, quality, and sustainability. The manager leads
and develops a high-performing maintenance organization, drives
accountability and disciplined execution, partners
cross-functionally to ensure stable operations, and leads
continuous improvement initiatives that optimize performance, cost,
and long-term asset reliability. Key Responsibilities Leadership &
Ownership Own maintenance, reliability, and asset uptime
performance across both Wisconsin sites, with clear accountability
for results. Set expectations and drive disciplined execution for
safety, reliability, cost, and equipment readiness across
Maintenance and Operations. Build and sustain a high-performing
maintenance organization through clear asset ownership, standards,
and accountability. Organizational Development (?20%) Recruit,
develop, and retain skilled maintenance talent through coaching,
training, and performance management. Drive technician and team
performance using KPIs, standard work, and structured feedback.
Strengthen site readiness through improved technical capability,
role clarity, and cross-functional alignment. Operational
Excellence (?60%) Champion HSE compliance and a proactive safety
culture that prioritizes risk reduction and equipment readiness.
Eliminate unplanned downtime and chronic equipment failures through
disciplined planning, scheduling, and execution. Improve uptime,
cost, quality, and stability using CMMS-driven, data-based
decisions and continuous improvement practices. Capital Projects &
Continuous Improvement (?20%) Identify, prioritize, and lead
capital and continuous improvement projects that improve safety,
reliability, capacity, and cost. Provide technical and execution
leadership to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned
with business priorities. Partner cross-functionally to embed
improvements, sustain results, and drive long-term operational
excellence. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Asset Up Time and
Equipment Availability Unplanned Downtime MTBF / MTTR Maintenance
Cost vs. Budget PM/PdM Compliance Safety Performance Capital
Project Delivery (Cost, Schedule, Results) Key Attributes Strong

Analytical and disciplined problem solver focused on reliability

organizational levels. Demonstrates urgency while maintaining
safety, quality, and compliance. Adaptable and resilient in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment. Qualifications Proven
maintenance leadership experience with accountability for asset
performance. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Trade,
technical, or advanced degree preferred (manufacturing, operations,
engineering, or related field); equivalent experience considered.
Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a
manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems,
electrical systems, controls, drives, and machine asset
maintenance. Experience with lean manufacturing and CI
methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S). Hands-on experience leading
continuous improvement and capital projects. Proficiency with
CMMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and
decision-making skills with the ability to convert data into
