Our number one priority is to take care of our customers. Our ideal candidate would have a strong commitment to customer service, a great team player, experience with Durable Medical Equipment or the ability to learn the trade. Job Summary: A Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Driver/Technician is responsible for safe, efficient delivery, set-up, repair, and instruction of durable medical equipment to patient/clients' place of residence. There will be regular interaction with customers, employees, and vendors. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a safe motor vehicle record. Requirements: Unrestricted valid Driver's License, DOT certification (completed a written exam and a road test). ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Deliver and pick up equipment from our clients. Set up equipment and instruct patients on the basic use of equipment. Assist patients in solving problems regarding equipment use or issues and provide repairs onsite or at our shop. Troubleshooting and completing estimates for parts. Perform routine vehicle maintenance including the checking of gasoline, oil fluids, tire pressure and brakes. Report malfunctions to supervisor. Further training will be provided to the right candidate for Installations and service of Stairlifts, Vehicle Lifts, Ramps, and Vertical Platform Lifts.
