distributor of water treatment components and drinking water
products, as well as specialized in custom blow molding products.We
are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team.Clack

Summary: Design, analyze and develop new and existing products
related to the water conditioning field. This role's main focus is
on hardware and electronics engineering support to Research &
Development and production areas.
- Design, develop, source, and revise electrical components used
to manufacture water treatment products.
- Evaluate and suggest changes to products, production methods,
manufacturing procedures, assembly procedures, inspection
procedures and bills of materials to increase production, improve
quality, improve reliability, decrease costs, and ensure safer
working environments.
- Determine specs, create drawings, quote, source, and approval
of prototypes for electrical hardware (cables, meters, power
supplies, motors, displays, PCB's & components, etc.).
- Assist in locating alternate PCB components for various PCB
suppliers.
- Review new and revised PCB files and layouts, verify all
functions, coordinate changes.
- Evaluate failures of products and/or equipment and resolve via
supplier contact or through redesign of components or
specifications.
- Evaluate new products and existing products for compliance with
end use specifications and product acceptability requirements.
- For products that do not meet acceptability requirements,
reject, or specify the conditions under which the product could be
used. Resolve issues for products that do not meet acceptability
requirements.
- Compiles and maintains proper organization of configuration
files, drawing files, product specifications and projects.
- Facilitate EMI testing to maintain CE, UKCA, UL. Work with
Eurolink on compliance documents.
- Obtain agency approvals and maintain compliance documents for
all power supplies.
- Review potential new suppliers to diversify sourcing as well as
understand new technologies.
- Compiles and maintains proper organization of files, product
specifications and projects.
- Coordinates contracting with various vendors.
- Direct creation and modification of items in the accounting
system, amortization surcharges, bills of materials and
routings.
- Effectively communicate with management, sales, production
staff, purchasing, engineering, accounting, suppliers and customers
on engineering, production, and product issues.
- Initiate purchase orders and approve payment on materials,
components, parts and tooling during the engineering phase.
- Evaluate failures of products and/or equipment and
resolve.
- Evaluate new products and existing products for compliance with
end use specifications.
- Evaluate products for compliance with product acceptability
requirements.
- Follow and comply with all quality, safety and work rules and
regulations including housekeeping standards and wearing of
appropriate personal protection equipment.
- For products that do not meet acceptability requirements,
reject, or specify the conditions under which the product could be
used. Resolve issues for products that do not meet
acceptability.
- Initiate purchase orders and approve payment on materials,
components, parts, and tooling.
- Perform verification and validation on products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work
experience.
- Previous engineering work experience in a manufacturing
environment preferred.
- Ability to work on multiple projects independently and without
supervision. Self-starter.
- Ability to competently complete projects in a timely manner.

- Proficient computer skills Windows, e-mail, Word and
Excel.

- Knowledge and ability to program and trouble shoot PLC's and
writing software programs.
- Knowledge of and hands on experience with electrical and
electronics.
- Knowledge of microprocessors and micro controllers. Able to
write software and layout hardware.

- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of codes and regulations.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
