working alongside and supervising a team of engineers to drive
continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and
Colleague Engagement. Responsible for inhouse shop's effectiveness.
Works to identify and resolves operational problems involved with
material, method, machine, and manufacturing. RELOCATION AND
SIGN-ON BONUS OFFERED.Accountabilities Leadership and continuous
improvement in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Colleague
Engagement Leads and participates in cross functional teams Drives
problem solving to root cause and permanent corrective action
Drives cadence and accountability to meet improvement goals Tracks
and reports on KPI's Forecast, tracks and assures reporting of all
projects Collaborates with other leaders towards meeting plant
specific objectives Participates in safety programs via regular
assignments while complying with OSHA and EBC standards, provides
input into performance evaluations of related subordinates,
collaborates with supervisor, co-workers, and teams to meet
departmental and company objectives. Provide Mentoring and Training
within organization. Required Skills and Experience At least 7
years professional technical experience in a production
manufacturing environment Bachelor's degree in Mechanical,
Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or Process related
Engineering fields Strong process improvement aptitude - material,
method, machine, man Strong mechanical aptitude - equipment and
systems Proven leader/motivator across diverse personalities and
competencies Professional verbal and non-verbal communication
skills Practiced software skills: MS Office, Excel, Data
visualization Quick adoption of new programs: SAP, CMMS Knowledge
of modern problem-solving techniques and systems Strong
organization and proven ability to drive a cadenced approach to
continuous improvement Preferred Skills and Experience SolidWorks
or equivalent 3D modeling software Knowledge and/or experience in
applying lean principles. High speed automated assembly experience
Management / supervision experience Familiar with safety and
quality processes and systems Exposure to maintenance systems and
processes Experience working within a union environment
(facilitative skills) Ability to designs parts and systems for
high-speed manufacturing equipment such as instruments, controls,
robotics, engines, machines, and mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, or
