Job Purpose The Quality Process Engineer is responsible for creation and implementation of quality inspection plans and processes throughout the organization, driving root cause and corrective actions for internal and external quality defects as needed, implementing proactive approach to Quality inspection plans, and other duties as directed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for adherence to the Cardinal Rules of Safety Responsible for developing inspection plans throughout the manufacturing process Working closely with machine operators, team lead, supervisors, etc. to establish inspection protocol Improvement of first pass yield (FPY) with the creation and utilization of Control Plans, PPAPs, Quality Plans, Quality Procedures, Work Instructions, etc. Ability to develop relationships in a highly matrixed organization, and drive teamwork cross functionally Working with minimal direction Ability to interpret blueprints, quality inspection plans, procedures, and work instructions. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance Follow company policies and procedures Other tasks as assignedAbove is a list of the most important responsibilities and functions, which are essential to the position.
