Versatran manufactures the patented Retriever line of equipment transport truck beds. (www.vtran.com)The Body Installation Technician will be required to assemble body kit, perform chassis preparation for install, and install bodies on chassis. Duties include frame drilling, electronics integration, and pneumatic installation of industrial transport bodies. ResponsibilitiesAbility to read schematics, diagrams and work instructions.Meet production performance standards.Strong mechanical background.Connects electrical wiring and cables.Installs lighting, outlets, switches, power boxes, and video equipment.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Positive attitude and willing to learn.Progressive vehicle systems interface as capabilities increase.Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow corporate safety standards is required.QualificationsStrong problem solver, both strategically and tactically while using research, and organizational skillsPossesses a high sense of urgency and ability to adapt to high and low pace work environmentsSelf-motivated and team oriented.
