Description We are seeking a skilled Utility Designer to join our
team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing
and drafting utility layouts and specifications for gas and
electric distribution. This role involves conducting site visits,
collaborating with project teams, and utilizing design software to
create detailed project drawings. Responsibilities Design and draft
utility layouts and specifications for gas and electric
distribution. Conduct site visits to assess project requirements
and gather relevant data. Collaborate with project teams to
maintain compliance with utility standards and regulations. Utilize
design software to create detailed project drawings. Use GPS survey
equipment to gather and analyze site data for utility design
projects. Assist in the coordination and implementation of utility
construction projects. Essential Skills Proficiency in drafting,
AutoCAD, Microstation, and CAD. Experience in mechanical and
distribution design. Familiarity with Trimble GPS and GIS.
Expertise in utility design. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associate's degree in mechanical, drafting, civil, or equivalent
field experience. Experience with gas and electric utilities
preferred. Work Environment The role requires working on-site from
Monday to Friday, providing a structured and collaborative work
environment where projects are developed and executed with
precision and teamwork. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to
Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay
range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility
requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to
