Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join a dynamic elementary school in Arlington Heights, IL, as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the current school year contract. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the communication development of K-5 students, with a caseload of approximately 30 children. The position begins on February 1 and provides a chance for extension into the 2026/2027 school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 5th grade Assess and document student progress regularly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student communication needs Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts Qualifications and Experience: Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience working with elementary school-aged children preferred Strong skills in speech and language therapy evaluation and intervention techniques Ability to manage a caseload of around 30 students effectively Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Location: Elementary school setting in Arlington Heights, Illinois Benefits and Perks: Full-time position, 35.5 hours per week Weekly pay for consistent income Comprehensive insurance package including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage Matching 401(k) retirement savings plan Flexible spending account options Potential contract extension for the 2026/2027 school year Supportive work environment focused on student success This contract role is well-suited for passionate SLPs dedicated to supporting young learners' communication skills in a school environment.
