Job Description:
At GardaWorld, we specialize in providing expert security
services in complex and high-risk environments, focusing on the
safety of individuals, protection of assets, and confidential
information. We are currently seeking a dedicated Overnight Event
Security Officer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in
maintaining a secure and safe atmosphere at various events during
the night. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring
event premises, managing crowd control, and responding to
emergencies, ensuring a secure environment for all attendees and
staff. Monitor CCTV and operate security systems to oversee event
premises during overnight shifts. Conduct regular patrols and spot
checks around the venue to prevent and detect signs of intrusion
and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. Identify,
address, and defuse security threats or issues in a timely and
effective manner. Assist in the implementation and enforcement of
event-specific security protocols. Provide detailed reports of
nightly activities and incidents, including equipment or property
damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual
occurrences. Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency
personnel when necessary. Ensure all safety standards are followed
to minimize risks during events. Proficiency in using security
technology and systems, including CCTV operation. Strong
communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to act with
integrity and professionalism in various situations. Excellent
observational skills with attention to detail. Valid security guard
license or certification as required by state or locality. First
Aid and CPR certifications are recommended.
