Internal Communications & PR Manager - Remote Madison New Jersey Job Description As the Manager of PR and Internal Communications, you will support the Director of PR and Communications to produce a mix of internal and external communications for ERA-- Real Estate, a growth brand within the Realogy family of companies. You will be a part of a dynamic, innovative group of marketing and communications professionals to build the brand's share of voice and value proposition to key audiences through real estate trends, thought leadership, broker and agent insights, and expansion efforts into growth markets.--

We need someone who is passionate about communications, has a keen eye for detail and can work in a fast-paced environment. With your exceptional attention to detail, superior customer service skills and ability to develop compelling content for multiple channels and formats, will offer you a unique and challenging opportunity to grow our brand voice across the real estate industry and within Team ERA.

This position is 100% remote; however, the ideal candidate will be located in the Eastern Time Zone or willing to work EST hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly responsible for the execution of ERA's communications strategy via successful Public Relations strategies in both business and consumer press and all internal communications. This includes driving a media mix of original research to achieve share of voice for leadership in the industry.
  • Create and maintain the PR and internal communications editorial calendar and build a cohesive and strategic content strategy, identifying the right story/series concepts for all channels including newsletters, email announcements, press releases, websites, video scripting, social media, and special projects as needed.
  • Serve as primary writer and publisher of content and determine distribution channels at of weekly brand newsletters and requested communications to franchise networks
  • Own communications projects, campaigns, tools and resources as part of a comprehensive internal and external communications strategy, including frequency, cadence, and content mix. Recommend and utilize a variety of channels and insights to increase readership rates and integration into the networks.
  • Support each brand's business-to-business and business-to-consumer PR efforts, including:
    • Development and management of the annual PR plans
    • Development and management of the broker-level PR efforts
    • PR and Marketing Tool Kit for the networks
    • Growth announcements
    • Thought leadership
    • Network innovations
    • Product and brand innovations
    • Regional PR campaigns in partnership with key brokers
      • Work with PR firm and brokers to identify regional trends, create press lists and targets, prepare brokers and pitch stories
      • Lead special marketing and PR campaigns as needed, including thought leadership white papers
      • Management of PR firms and budgets
      • Work closely with leadership to recommend and take a strategic view of content production across all internal communications channels, including:
        • Playing an active role in creating and managing the internal communications editorial calendar including development of story/series concepts for all channels, balancing business vs. engagement content, and seeing the big picture of how features relate to one another
        • Build and leverage affiliate feedback, monitor in real-time, and analyze data from regular surveys. Propose and apply best practices to extend reach and engagement, and improve delivery methods and frequency
        • Act as a trusted resource and develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. Build consensus across cross-functional teams and influence decision making with senior-level audiences to achieve business objectives
        • Ensure all communications activities ladder up to the overall marketing objectives. Manage the PR and internal communications reporting process through the development of comprehensive PR and internal communications reports Utilize the analytics, key learnings and best practices to inform future communications programs and initiatives.
        • Additional responsibilities as required.
          Minimum Qualifications:
          • Bachelor's degree required: Marketing or Communications major preferred
          • 4-7 years' experience in internal communications and/or PR, either on the agency or client side.
          • Experience in writing, editing and producing content including weekly newsletters, email announcements, executive level communication and event communications (writing samples to be collected)
          • Stellar writing, editing and verbal communication skills
          • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
          • Proven experience in project management and working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
          • Ability to optimize brand resources into a comprehensive strategy
          • Superior skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
          • Strong attention to detail
          • Pronounced initiative and ability to problem solve
          • Vendor management experience preferred
          • This role does not have any direct reports, management experience not required
