As a Billing Analyst your days will be spent:

• Owning the billing process from start to finish, by preparing and generating accurate and timely client invoices
• Reviewing new client contracts prior to submittals for financial accuracy
• Entering and reviewing project budgets, staffing and contracted amounts in accounting software
• Combining your accounting knowledge and experience to utilize accounting software to track project metrics and profitability
• Working with Project Managers to ensure accurate project details and deliver necessary reports and dashboards
• Reviewing project time and expense entry for accuracy prior to billing cycle
• Resolving billing issues, following up on outstanding invoices, and responding to customer inquiries
• Various ad-hoc and routine accounting functions as neededTo excel from day one, you'll need:
  • An associate or bachelor's degree in accounting (preferred) or relevant experience
  • 5+ years' experience in client billing
  • The proven ability to work independently with limited oversight
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of integrated Accounting ERP systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to recognize areas for process improvement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; must be willing and able to interact with and present to all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner
  • To maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
  • The ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines
