This role is integral to the financial management team and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, including budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.Why join us?

  • Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax, and audit functions.
  • Direct financial strategy, planning, and forecasts; conferring with the CEO, COO, and the Board of Directors.
  • Supervise the investment and portfolio strategy as well as banking relationships.
  • Develop and coordinate necessary and appropriate accounting and statistical data.
  • Evaluate and manage risk, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local legal requirements by researching existing and new legislation, consulting with outside advisors, and filing financial reports.Qualifications:
    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. An MBA, CPA, or related designation is preferred.
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, specifically within the construction or mechanical contracting industry.
    • Experience in Job Costing is strongly preferred
    • Experience with Sage 300 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
