remotely, the Data Integration Analyst - SQL Specialist will work
with school staff, the technology team, and partners to accurately
report student and staff data to state Departments of Education and
Federal Government Agencies, as well as supply critical data to
other departments within Pearson Online and Blended Learning K-12
including the Executive and Legal team. This is a newly created
position with the opportunity to gather requirements, develop,
communicate, and implement processes. The employee is responsible
for anticipating, creating, organizing, updating, and maintaining
the SQL queries and reports for the state reporting team. He/she
will also prepare ad hoc reports requested by external audiences
often requiring a short turnaround. The ideal candidate will have
strong technical aptitude, a desire for continuous improvements,
takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, experience with project
management, and school reporting as it relates to data
manipulation, report writing, automation, importing, and exporting
between applications. In addition, the candidate will be able to
communicate effectively and confidently with state reporting
colleagues as well as other corporate and school
leaders.Responsibilities:* Provide data to support the school''s
academic and financial operations for multiple complex schools;
Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) data between systems.* Manage
data sets with students, staff, and course information. Partner
with school personnel and program and district liaisons to monitor
and track data for inconsistencies, research discovered
inconsistencies, and develop a plan for correction and future
prevention.* Interpret technical file specifications, export, and
import data to fulfill requirements, and document steps for
replication and audit preparation.* Manage deadline tracking
systems and ensure timely submission of all required reports.*
Maintain data integrity and ongoing quality of delivered reports.*
Support cross-team requirements and development efforts for
multiple projects.* Create and maintain SQL Server Reports to
accommodate state reporting and corporate requirements.* Assist
with developing procedures and oversee implementation of procedures
for reporting to external audiences including state agencies,
funding sources, school boards, partner organizations, etc.*
Represent PVS, the school, and the department at internal and
external conferences including preparing and delivering
presentations.* Identify and lead opportunities for improvements to
increase accuracy and efficiency.* Serve as subject matter expert
in data tools and techniques.* Maintain departmental process and
procedure documentation.* Other duties as assigned.Requirements:*
Strong knowledge of SQL with experience querying large complex data
models.* Proven experience with report design and ability to
present data in a meaningful way using Power BI, Reporting
Services, and/or MS Excel* Ability to interpret technical file
specification documents to produce error-free import files*
Experience establishing procedures for data management and quality
control* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
including leading and owning the relationship with
partner-customers and resolving conflicts* Excellent project
management, organizational, and planning skills with the ability to
balance multiple tasks and competing deadlines* Experience with
Salesforce data structures* 4-8 years of professional experience*
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent experience in Math, Statistics,
Education, Social Science, Research, or related field* Due to the
nature of this position, the applicant will need the ability to
work from home or during off-hours as necessary.* Experience in
K-12 education and/or State educational reporting a

anticipated starting salary range for Colorado-based expressing
interested in this position is $63,000-$70,000. This position is
